Ti Amo by Marion Ueckermann

Of Promises And Dreams

Ti Amo by Marion Ueckermann is a delightful contemporary Christian romance. It is book four in the A Tuscan Legacy series but can be read as a stand-alone.

The novel has a wonderful light air which blends with the heat of Italy to produce a fabulous read that appeals to all the reader’s senses. The reader is whisked through the streets of Rome, ‘viewing’ the tourist spots and being tempted by the local fayre.

God is at the centre. “He’d obeyed and moved… when his Lord had spoken.” We all need to be so at one with God that we recognise His voice when He speaks.

All My Tomorrows by Various

A Marvellous Collection

All My Tomorrows is a delightful collection of three historical Christian novellas. All have strong, likable, forward thinking women with huge hearts for others. Similar themes run throughout. The stories are all marvellous and it is impossible to choose a favourite.

Worth The Wait by Karen Witemeyer is a delightful story with themes of trust, faithfulness, new beginnings and family. God can redeem our past and our pain. “The past would not control her.” God will set us free. With some good wholesome characters and amusing banter, the reader is entertained. Scars from the past need just as much healing as physical ones. A wonderful read.

Who’s On The Throne Of Your Life?

Out Of Control by June Foster is a Christian contemporary novel that is not afraid to tackle real life issues.

People (wrongly) assume that Christians have it all together and life is perfect. Christians are people too, who try hard but sometimes fail. We have issues and flaws and are all a work in progress. “If he didn’t walk away, he could repeat his past mistakes.”

The novel shows our upbringing may influence how we act but we are not destined to repeat the sins of our fathers.

The Backcountry Brides Collection by Various

Love In Times Of Conflict

The Backcountry Brides Collection is a delightful set of eight unique Christian tales set in the mid eighteenth century. The stories are bound by settings and themes. It is a time of conflict for the Americans with the British, French, German and Native Americans. There is distrust of others who hold different values. There are conflicts between the Loyalists and the Patriots. In spite of war, love can flourish if you know where to look.

Shenandoah Hearts by Carrie Fancett Pagels is a delightful tale about families, first love and the faithfulness of God. Life in the mid eighteenth century was precarious with conflicts. Families bonded together and supported each other. Those who were lost, were found and God restores the years the locusts have eaten. As a Carrie Fancett Pagels fan, I was delighted to see William Christy make an appearance in the story.
