Love, Laughter & Family
Snowed In For Christmas by Sarah Morgan is the most charming festive offering that will warm your heart on even the coldest day.
The setting could hardly be more perfect – snowed in in an isolated Scottish family home where love, laughter and care live. It is a home where strangers are welcomed into the heart of the family.
Sarah Morgan has once more created a marvelous set of characters who lodge in the reader’s hearts. I adored them all from Hunter the dog to Nana Jean. Nana Jean at eighty six yeas old does not believe in wasting time. She says just what she is thinking which is absolutely hilarious. Her mouth has no filter. She is definitely my favourite character, although I loved them all.
Family is important. Family is where we feel safe and we feel loved. Family stick together. I loved the bond between the three siblings who still have sibling conferences in their thirties.
No matter how old our children are, we never stop worrying about them. Their problems become our problems but we must resist the urge to interfere.
We see that sometimes we need to have courage to open ourselves up to love and to feeling vulnerable. Life is for living and loving.
Snowed In For Christmas is such a delightful read. I always adore Sarah Morgan’s novels as they brighten any day and leave me smiling. Snowed In For Christmas is definitely a Christmas hug in a book.
I received a free copy from the publishers for a blog tour. A favourable review was not required. All opinions are my own.
