Teapots And Tiaras by Autumn Macarthur is a delightful contemporary Christian novel and part of the Love In Store series. It is also in a collection entitled Three Weddings. I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with familiar characters.

There are the twin themes of love and duty. Sometimes in life we witness love stifled by duty. We see the detrimental effects on a character after his grandfather preached duty above all else.

 We all need love. When we are loved, we feel safe. Love is priceless.

It is a terrible thing to misrepresent God. “He’d never measured up to the perfection his grandfather’s God demanded.” God is not a frowning, angry God waiting for us to mess up. God is a God of love who when He sees us mess up, He walks beside us and helps us clear up our messes. We never have to earn His love. God’s gift to us is His love. He loves us completely and always will.
