Hope And Second Chances

Holiday In The Hamptons by Sarah Morgan was another delightful fun contemporary romance which I just wallowed in. Meeting up with familiar characters from previous novels meant I felt comfortable from the start.

Four legged friends had starring roles in the novel. As a pet lover I love it that animals feature and work their way into the reader’s heart.

The novel shows the affect an upbringing can have on later life – for good or for bad. A traumatic childhood has far reaching consequences and a failed marriage can have a massive fall-out on all members of the family. “When a marriage goes wrong, it doesn’t just affect one person. It reverberates… It destroys some structures and weakens others.”

Love And Life, Family And Friends

New York Actually by Sarah Morgan is a delightful and fun contemporary romantic read but with a serious message. I always love Sarah Morgan’s writings as they put a smile on my face and leave my heart feeling warm.

New York Actually is a wonderful read on so many levels. Characters from a previous novel were on the peripheral which made the read feel familiar from the start.

The characters were drawn realistically and with warmth – they included two big bouncy dogs who took on their own personalities and were as much a part of the story as the humans.

Love Is A Gift

5thMiracle On 5th Avenue by Sarah Morgan is a delightful contemporary romantic novel. It would be a perfect read for any time of year but with its snow and December setting, it is just right for warming the reader on a dark, damp autumnal day.

The book was definitely a feel-good read with the elements of a fairytale as it spoke to my heart. The main characters Eva and Lucas were wonderfully drawn. The dialogue bounced between them and was highly amusing at times. Eva’s sunny outlook on life certainly brightened up this reader’s day. Though it was a novel, I really felt I ‘knew’ Eva and that was down to the skill of Sarah Morgan’s writing.
