The Nowhere Emporium by Ross MacKenzie

Fires Up The Imagination

The Nowhere Emporium by Ross MacKenzie  is a marvellous, enchanting children’s book for ages ten years and over.

This is a book that will fire up your imagination as you lose yourself within its pages for a few hours. There is a battle of goodness against evil as there is a race to save the Nowhere Emporium from extinction.

We witness a love that holds tight, hemming a character in to protect but the reality is that a life is stifled. When we love, we need to hold on loosely. Life is for living, sometimes we have to take a risk and step outside our comfort zone.

There are lessons to be learnt along the way. Rules are there to keep us safe and not to be seen as a challenge to break.

All the characters were well drawn in this exciting, imaginative tale.

I will leave you with my favourite quote:

“It was like he’d been living in black and white, and suddenly the world was alive with colour.”
