Lies Lies Lies is the exploration of relationships. Adele Parks shows the lengths some people will go to to protect those they love. We also see what happens when love is warped.

The hand of friendship is extended in some surprising places. Sacrifices are made to protect the exposed.

There are the hard hitting topics of alcoholism and abuse. The former is an addiction that needs love and support to recover from, as well as the will power and desire to recover. The abuse is hard to read.

At the heart of the novel is a beautiful six year old. We see the fiercely protective love of a mother.

Lies Lies Lies was a gripping and at times horrifying read. It consumed my every thought as my emotions ducked and dived throughout. A marvellous novel whose action I could not predict.
