A Lady Unrivaled by Roseanna White is a Christian historical thriller. It is the third and final book in the Ladies Of The Manor series but can be read as a stand-alone. It had both a lavish setting and a nail biting storyline.
There were many themes within the novel including those of new beginnings and second chances. “Remember who you are – not who you were.” God is the God of redemption. In Him we can all have new life and we do not need to look back at who we were.
Tied in to these themes are those of guilt and forgiveness. Looking backwards and feeling guilty for past acts is not what God wants for anyone. Today is the day to forgive yourself and focus on the future and not the past. “It’s time to forgive yourself.” Roseanna White shows that forgiving yourself is not always easy to do.
