Justice Buried by Patricia Bradley

Can You Predict The Outcome?

Justice Buried by Patricia Bradley is a very clever and intelligent Christian contemporary murder suspense that will have you on the edge of your seat throughout. It is the second book in the Memphis cold Case series but can be read as a stand-alone.

Threats await round every corner making pulses rise and hearts race. My senses were heightened as I read on towards the excellent conclusion.

Present day murders seemingly connect to crimes long gone… but what is the link? And why? The murder squad cooperates with the cold case department trying to solve the crimes. Everyone, though appearing to be of good character must be a suspect. With an intricate plotline, the reader tries (and in my case, fails) to predict the outcome.

There is the theme of trust. Sooner or later we must put our trust in someone, but who?

The characters were wonderfully drawn, well rounded and three dimensional. The heroine was a wonderful blend of incredibly strong yet emotionally vulnerable. Her intelligence shone through. Her emotional attachment and desire to believe the best of her father really endeared her to the reader. Her sense of adventure and strength of personality were to be applauded. The reader was in her corner, cheering her on throughout.

Amongst the dark crimes to be solved were some lighter moments of match making. The reader watched eagerly to see if there were any developments.

This was my first Patricia Bradley novel and what a fabulous read it was. With its intelligent plot and likable characters, Justice Buried would make a fabulous movie. I can highly recommend it and will certainly be hunting out more by the talented Patricia Bradley.

I received this book for free. A favourable review was not required and all views expressed are my own.
