Before The Coffee Gets Cold series has really spoken to my heart. The books are about love, life, regrets and memories. They are uniquely crafted by Toshikazu Kawaguchi and beautifully executed.

Before Your Memory Fades is so beautiful and poignant. We meet those who are grieving and have regrets and frustrations. Grief takes many forms. For some, they want to lock up their lives and never smile again. They believe that to smile, is to feel guilty for living. “I’m worried that you will forget how to smile when I die.” Our loved ones want us to remember and to smile when they are gone. We smile again, in memory of their love.

Death is not the end, as long as we remember our loved ones in our hearts, they live on. “Even though I die, as long as you don’t forget me, I’ll always be in your heart.” Death happens but memories enable us to live on.

Life and death are facts. They happen to us all. How we respond is important. We need to keep hope alive. “Hope is the power to believe in the future.”

I absolutely adore Before The Coffee Gets Cold series. Before Your Memory Fades is serenely beautiful. It gives the reader a peace and a hope. Love is alive.
