The Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins

Intriguing

The Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins is a contemporary psychological thriller that will have you guessing throughout as the start is the ending.

The book is split into three different female voices united by circumstances. The action moves between them in alternating time periods.

The main female characters are a blend of strong characters with unique flaws. I would have liked more background for all of them. I treated all the male characters with a healthy dose of suspicion.

I had heard a lot about this book and was intrigued to read it. Whilst I found the plot well constructed, I did get a little confused with the action at times.

A good tale to wile away an afternoon. You will never look at train journeys in quite the same way again.
