Trust Him
Finding Love by Toni Shiloh is a delightful contemporary romance which I loved. It is the second book in the Maple Run series but can be read as a stand-alone.
Finding Love focuses on new beginnings and second chances. With God, we can all have new beginnings. We need to trust Him and His word.
Having faith is a major theme. We need faith in ourselves and in God. We can always trust God’s Hands when we give Him our lives.
Prayer is powerful. It is building a relationship with God. At times, all we can do is pray. We need to be sure we are talking to God and not at God. We need to be sure to listen for His answers.
We all carry baggage around with us. With time that baggage becomes heavier. We need to give it to God and trust Him.
There is the theme of PTSD. This can lead to other problems such as alcoholism in our desire to cope. PTSD needs to be faced and treated with prayer and by health professionals.
The novel has the theme of guilt. In this case, survivors guilt. It weighs heavy. We need to give our guilt to God and let Him cover us with His grace.
There is a wonderful family atmosphere in the novel. The reader really ‘feels’ included. There is much hospitality surrounding food which we all enjoy.
Finding Love was an absolutely delightful read that really warmed my heart.
I received this book for free. A favourable review was not required and all views expressed are my own.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! I really appreciate it more than words can say.
A very good review. I love reading book series that have a strong sense of family. It’s one of the reasons I want to come back. I’m glad the Maple Run series has that.
