Restoring Faith by Marin Ueckermann is a contemporary Christian novel set in 2003 and part of the Potter’s House series as well as being the first book in the Shaped By Love series.

Marion Ueckermann writes about ‘real’ issues as the reader witnesses a fifteen year old marriage in crisis. “Heaven forbid the world knew their marriage was in trouble.” Why do we feel a need to pretend all is well, especially when we go to church? If we are in trouble, we need to seek godly counsel before it is too late.

The advice the world gives is not helpful. The world has a different set of standards when compared with the Christian however there should be the same moral code governing both. In all things we need to go to the source, the Bible, to get God’s standard.

Of Promises And Dreams

Ti Amo by Marion Ueckermann is a delightful contemporary Christian romance. It is book four in the A Tuscan Legacy series but can be read as a stand-alone.

The novel has a wonderful light air which blends with the heat of Italy to produce a fabulous read that appeals to all the reader’s senses. The reader is whisked through the streets of Rome, ‘viewing’ the tourist spots and being tempted by the local fayre.

God is at the centre. “He’d obeyed and moved… when his Lord had spoken.” We all need to be so at one with God that we recognise His voice when He speaks.

Family’s, Secrets And Love

That’s Amore by Marion Ueckermann is a delightful contemporary Christian romance. It is the first book in the A Tuscan Legacy series that is a multi-author nine book series that has started so full of promise.

With wonderful descriptive passages, the Tuscan countryside really comes to life in glorious 3D. I could ‘see’ the landscape and almost ‘feel’ the heat.

Once again Marion Ueckermann has drawn fully rounded and likable characters that weave their way into the readers hearts. A big fan of all Marion Ueckermann’s books, I was delighted to see some familiar faces. It felt like I was catching up with old friends.

The novel revolves around family. A family with a whole missing generation as grandchildren meet to celebrate their grandmother’s eightieth. The reader can ‘feel’ the love radiating out.

Coming Home

A Time To Love by Marion Ueckermann is a contemporary Christian romance. It is such a delightful read. It will warm heart and leave you smiling.

There are many themes including those of fear and trust. If we are not careful, our fears will rule our lives. “Stop running from what scares you.” We need to “face [our] fears.” Fear will bind us and keep us prisoner. Jesus came to set us free. We need to turn to God and put our trust and faith in Him to guide us.

Faith is the opposite of fear. We cannot fear when we know that God is in control. Trust in God means whatever we face, we do not face it alone.
