Christmas On Madrona Island by Andrea Hurst is the most delightful Christmas novella. My first book by Andrea Hurst but I shall be reading more.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. A community that knows how to celebrate Christmas and how to support each other.

Wonderful traditional elements of food, trees, families – and over it all, a covering of love. The warmth just radiates out from the pages of the book.

I loved the inclusion of animals. They help to turn a house into a home.

Christmas is a time of memories, both making them and looking back. It is a bittersweet time as we remember those who are no longer here. It is also a time for children.
